Acceptable Use Policy & Community Guidelines

This policy applies to everyone who accesses or uses the XpertWorker platform at xpertworker.com — whether browsing, booking, or offering services. It forms part of, and should be read with, our Terms of Service.
2. Core Standards of Conduct
All users must:
- Act lawfully and honestly at all times;
- Provide true, accurate, and current information;
- Treat other users and our staff with respect;
- Respect others' privacy, property, and safety;
- Use the Platform only for its intended purpose — connecting for genuine home services.
3. Prohibited Conduct
You must not:
- Break any applicable law or facilitate any unlawful activity;
- Provide false, fraudulent, impersonating, or misleading information;
- Harass, threaten, abuse, stalk, intimidate, or discriminate against anyone on any ground including caste, religion, gender, or disability;
- Post or share content that is obscene, defamatory, hateful, or infringes anyone's intellectual property or privacy;
- Post fake, paid, coerced, or retaliatory reviews or ratings;
- Scrape, copy, reverse-engineer, or republish any part of the Platform;
- Upload malware or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, system, or data;
- Interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Platform or its infrastructure;
- Use the Platform to send spam or unsolicited marketing.
4. For Customers
- Give accurate details of the work required and honest access to your property;
- Be present, or have a competent adult present, during the service;
- Inspect the work before paying the professional directly;
- Do not ask a professional to do anything illegal or unsafe;
- Raise genuine concerns respectfully — first with the professional, then with us.
5. For Professionals
- List only services you are lawfully qualified and equipped to perform;
- Hold all licences, permits, and registrations the law requires for your trade;
- Never misrepresent your identity, skills, certifications, or experience;
- Quote fairly and transparently; never demand money from a customer under false pretences;
- Do not solicit customers off-platform to avoid lead fees, or misuse customer contact details for any purpose beyond the job;
- Follow all safety norms and treat customers' homes and belongings with care.
6. Reviews & Ratings Integrity
Reviews must reflect genuine, first-hand experience. Buying, selling, exchanging, incentivising, or coercing reviews is strictly prohibited, as is posting reviews about your own or a competitor's business. We may moderate, decline, or remove content that breaches this policy.
7. Reporting Violations
If you see conduct that breaks these rules, report it to support@xpertworker.com or through our Grievance Redressal page. Include as much detail and evidence as you can.
8. Consequences of Breach
DEPENDING ON SEVERITY, WE MAY ISSUE A WARNING, REMOVE CONTENT, RESTRICT FEATURES, SUSPEND OR PERMANENTLY TERMINATE AN ACCOUNT, WITHHOLD LEADS, AND REPORT UNLAWFUL CONDUCT TO LAW-ENFORCEMENT AUTHORITIES. THESE ACTIONS ARE AT XPERTWORKER'S SOLE DISCRETION.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Platform means you accept the current version.
